Andrea Alejandra, Madrid España (Madrid, Spain)

 

 Andrea is Spanish and she is 10 years old. She is the tallest girl of her class. She is outgoing, affectionate and generous. Andrea lives with her mom and her aunt. At the moment, Andrea doesn't have a pet. Someday, she would like to have a cat or a dog but her mother says that she has to wait until she grows up. Andrea has many interesting friends - among them, her friend Irene who moved recently to Paris, Kamila, an Ecuadorian and Cecilia, a Paraguayan.

Andrea is in the 4th grade at ‘Santa Isabel’ Real School. She has three favorite teachers: Eva, Raquel and Merche. (It is interesting that in Spain the children don't address their teachers with Mr. or Mrs.) Sometimes, Andrea has 2 hours of homework daily. She studies English, Mathematics and other subjects.

Christmas is Andrea's favorite holiday. But on January 6th, the Spanish people celebrate The Day of the Eastern Kings (also translated as The Day of the Wise Men in some countries) and the children receive gifts!
Like many girls of her age, Andrea likes books and movies about magic and witches. Andrea says that when she grows up, she wants to be a witch!

Her favorite color is deep blue. She is afraid of dark. She hates the injustice and children who insult each other. Her favorite food is pizza!
